The Gateway Chapter of Trout Unlimited (TU) would like to invite you to our third annual fundraising dinner on Friday, February 16th 2018 at Tapawingo National Golf Club in Sunset Hills, Missouri. The event begins at 6pm and will be an exciting evening filled with raffles, auctions, food, and drinks overlooking a beautiful golf course.

Our goal is to complete the fundraising for the Meremac River Telemetry Study as well as raise funds to ensure that Gateway TU can continue its mission to conserve, protect and restore Missouri’s cold water fisheries and their watersheds.

Featured Speaker:

Our featured speaker for the evening will be the Missouri Department of Conservation Director, Sara Parker Pauley.

A native of Columbia, Pauley received both her law degree and bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and did post-graduate studies in Australia as a Rotary Fellow. She previously served as Director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources since 2010. She has worked as project manager for D.J. Case & Associates, a natural resources communications firm, and as a deputy director for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. She has been an instructor at the University of Missouri’s School of Natural Resources, teaching a course in natural resource policy and administration.

Pauley began her professional career as a Policy Analyst with the Missouri Department of Conservation from 1993-1996. Over the years, though her career path varied, it has never strayed far from her personal desire to be engaged in the stewardship of Missouri’s natural resources.

This will be a great opportunity to hear from the states most influential and effective advocates for conservation.

Donors:

Our chapter’s success would not be possible without the help of our members and generous donors. If you would like to donate or be apart of this great night, please email evan.muskopf@gatewaytu.org

The auction and raffle item proceeds will help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 to finish funding for the Meremac River Telemetry Study and help sustain the Gateway Chapter of Trout Unlimited in the future.

Consider supporting our Chapter by donating gift certificates, merchandise, sports memorabilia, tickets, vacation homes, services, or anything else you can think of that might raise funds for the Chapter. Donated items do not have to be fishing-related. Your name and donation will be recognized on our website and will be displayed next to your item the night of the event. In addition to your donation, please consider contacting friends or businesses in your community who might be interested in donating an item or even attending the night. A portion of your donation may be tax deductible, and you will be provided with the appropriate tax documentation with each donation upon request. Active participation from our membership is vital to the success of this event.

To donate, please send an email (evan.muskopf@gatewaytu.org).  You may drop off your item(s) at any upcoming Chapter event, or upon request, we will gladly make arrangements to have your item picked up by one of our board members.

Thank you for your consideration,
